ACA Announces Latest PPMS Certification
ACA International congratulates the latest member agency to receive the Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) certification designation:
- J.C. Christensen & Associates Inc.,
Sartell, Minn., and Omaha, Neb.
PPMS is a management system for collection agencies based upon developing, implementing and adhering to a set of industry-specific professional practices and policies. The required foundational training session teaches participants about the 18 basic elements of a PPMS and how to develop the following types of documentation to support the PPMS:
- Company manuals
- Company procedures
- Work instructions
Developing and documenting a PPMS is the core of the ACA International Agency Certification Program. While each agency's PPMS will be unique, by following the overall guidelines of the program, the agency will demonstrate a commitment to quality assurance and client satisfaction that is the foundation of the ACA agency certification designation.
The next Foundational Training on PPMS seminars will be held on May 17- 20, 2009, in conjunction with ACA's Credit and Collection Business Academy at Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas; and on July 11-12, 2009, in conjunction with ACA International's 70th Annual Convention and Exposition at Wynn Las Vegas.
